Well, as the heading suggests, I have neglected this blog for roughly the last 7 months. My how things have changed since that first entry! To make a long story short, the pregnancy went very smoothly - not much nausea, no vomiting, and only a few nights up with Tums and Gaviscon nursing heartburn. Our daughter was born at 11:07 pm on Wednesday, October 6th and weighed in at 7 lbs 10 oz, measuring 20 inches in length. We ended up opting for a home birth (so happy with that decision!!!), and are loving parenthood so far.
You would think this post would be longer after such a long time away, but baby is calling, so off I go to Mommyland.
